Another beauty is joining my whimsical girl collection. This piece features "Belle" inspired after Beauty and the Beast's Belle. She was painted complete with petal withering magical rose, yellow formal dress, and books scattered about at her feet.
Hello. I put my thoughts down on canvas with acrylic paint. Some have described my art as 'storybook style', I've heard others say 'dreamlike'. I myself consider it a sort of contemporary whimsy of color and imagination. You can find more good stuff about me through my website, or friend me on facebook @ facebook/cindythorntonart. All the new stuff gets posted there first. Thanks for stopping by! -Cindy @ www.cindythornton.com

Love your whimsical girl series, Cindy! I think this is the only one the face shows! Love it! Now featured on the group home page of Whimsical Paintings

You are correct...this was the first girl painting where I did not hide the face :) Thanks for the note!
